very similar to Omaha, but with fewer betting rounds. Texas
holdem was invented to speed up the game and allow more players

The core of the rules for texas holdem, is that each player has
seven cards from which to make a five card poker hand. The texas
holdem poker rules specify that five cards will be mutual to all
players, which means that each players hand will consist of at
least three of these mutual, or "flop," cards. Each
player will have two hole cards. According
to poker rules, and just as in any other poker game, the person
with the highest five card poker hand wins the pot.
